Terms & Conditions

Clear expectations for using our website and participating in Destiny’s Chess Academy programs.

By using this website or enrolling a student, you agree to these terms and to any program-specific details confirmed during enrollment.

01

Enrollment and participation

  • A parent or legal guardian must provide accurate enrollment information for every child participant.
  • Class placement may consider age, experience, playing strength, learning pace, and coach availability.
  • Parents are responsible for ensuring that the student has suitable internet access, a compatible device, and a safe learning environment.
02

Classes, scheduling, and communication

  • Schedules, attendance expectations, rescheduling options, and make-up class availability are communicated at enrollment and may vary by program.
  • Parents should use the academy’s official contact channels for schedule changes, support requests, and student feedback.
  • Coaches may share assignments, progress notes, and tournament guidance as part of the selected program.
03

Fees and cancellations

  • Current fees, billing frequency, trial terms, cancellation terms, and any refund eligibility are confirmed before payment.
  • Where a written enrollment confirmation or invoice includes program-specific terms, those terms apply to that purchase.
  • Questions about a charge or cancellation should be sent promptly to the academy using the contact details below.
04

Safe and respectful learning

  • Students, parents, and coaches are expected to communicate respectfully and avoid disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour.
  • The academy may intervene, pause participation, or end access when necessary to protect students, coaches, or the learning environment.
  • Parents should supervise younger children as appropriate during online sessions.
05

Content and responsible use

  • Lesson materials, recordings, worksheets, branding, and website content remain the property of their respective owners and are for enrolled students’ personal learning use.
  • Classes or materials must not be recorded, copied, sold, republished, or shared publicly without written permission.
  • Chess progress varies by learner, and no specific rating, tournament result, or performance outcome is guaranteed.
06
